It's easy to go 'argh......'.

Less easy to help a unit manager who has few labour hours assigned to the unit; old equipment and a seeming flood of agency staff on the client-side, to work safely and in a proper manner.

So the reports given are largely sympathetic to the situation - but also make strong suggestions.

Working towards Best Practice is not just about ticking boxes for a company or client inspection. It is mainly about working in an efficient and tidy manner that satisfies the strict criteria; looks correct to the care staff (and they do notice what we do - the good and the bad); protects stock and standards and not least makes your own and your staff's tasks rather easier to perform.

But we do see things that just should not be allowed to occur..........................take a peek here.
